Day 1 Fes – Merzouga
Leave Fes through the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, cedar country, Midelt and the Ziz Valley. Reach Merzouga in the late afternoon, cross the dunes by camel for sunset and spend the first night in a Sahara bivouac.
